Brr! Loiners shiver as Leeds ranked second coldest city in the UK

WHEN it comes to identifying the coldest cities in the UK, you might be forgiven for thinking the top spots would all be taken by Scottish cities.

But according to analysis by rainwater harvesting company Freeflush, Leeds is the second coldest place to live in Britain.

Loiners are shivering behind only those in Perth, met office data from between 1981 and 2015 suggests.

Two of the other top five coldest cities are also Scottish, Aberdeen and Dundee, but our West Yorkshire neighbours Bradford are feeling chilly in third place.
