Bradley Lowery's family warn of fake charity pages set up in his name - as 'very weak' Bradley fights on

The family of terminally ill football mascot Bradley Lowery have warned against fake social media pages being set up in his name.

The six-year-old Sunderland fan has the rare childhood cancer neuroblastoma and his winning smile, despite his ordeal, has touched the world of football, and beyond.

In an update shared on the family's official page, the family announced that Bradley is now 'very weak' but 'fighting on in true Bradley style'.

The statement also said that they have been made aware of 'fake pages created in Bradley's name to gain likes' - including some with JustGiving pages being linked to them.

The post in full said: "Bradley is very weak now but is still fighting on in true Bradley style. He will only go when he decides.

"PS We have been made aware of fake pages created in Bradley's name to gain likes and even have JustHiving pages linked to them, please be vigilant.

"Thank you for your continued support and when the time comes it will be put on Bradley's official Facebook (here) and twitter before anywhere else. Xx"
