THOUSANDS of party-goers descended on Leeds for a dance under the world’s biggest disco ball.
More than 20,000 took part in the Big Disco at Duke Studios. The event was part of the Yorkshire Festival, which came to an end at the weekend after an 18-day run.
Over 165,000 people enjoyed performances and one-off shows as part of the festival, which included hundreds of events by 900 artists from 22 countries.
Yorkshire Festival’s artistic director, Matt Burman, said: “This year’s festival has been an incredible success. I’d like to thank our audiences for giving such a warm welcome to artists from all over the county and across the world.”
