Body found in Cleckheaton was that of missing woman, police confirm
POLICE have confirmed that a body found on Friday afternoon was that of a missing woman from Cleckheaton.
Tracey Bamford, 46, had been missing from her home since the early hours of Wednesday, July 22.
Officers were called to land near Mann Dam bridge, Cleckheaton, at about 3.09pm on Friday after a member of the public found the body of an adult woman.
Detective Inspector Mark Truelove of Kirklees CID said: “Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.”
