American rockstars Blink 182 have been unveiled as the first headliner for next year’s Leeds Festival.

The punk rockers enjoyed a headline slot at the festival, which attracts thousands of revellers to Bramham Park, three years ago.

The band, whose hits include All The Small Things and What’s My Age Again, will play their only UK show at the festival next year.

Band frontman Mark Hoppus said: “I’m stoked to play Reading & Leeds 2014.

“It’s our fourth time playing the festivals, and we’re very honoured. Prepare for the fury.”

Joining them will be festival favourite Jake Bugg, dance act Disclosure, pop act Metronomy and American metalcore quintet Of Mice & Men.

Weekend tickets £202.50 plus booking fees and organisers have launched a £50 deposit scheme to secure a ticket.
