Biker accident brings chaos to Leeds city centre

RUSH hour traffic came to a standstill in Leeds this morning after a motorcyclist came off his bike near the Armley Gyratory.

Police and ambulance services were called to the scene, on the A58 Wellington Road, at 7.45am.

The male rider of the red Ducati motorbike was taken to hospital.

The accident caused serious traffic problems on the westbound carriageway of the A58 inner ring road.
