Big-name presenters have been announced as hosts for the 2017 MOBO Awards in Leeds next week.
Some of the UK’s most popular urban music stars will head to the city on Wednesday as thousands of fans pack into the First Direct Arena.
And organisers today announced that DJ and former JLS singer Marvin Humes will lead the awards evening.
He will be joined as a presenter by TV host and radio DJ Maya Jama, the girlfriend of 2015 and 2016 Best Grime Act MOBO Award-winner Stormzy.
Mr Humes said: “The MOBOs have been a huge part of my life.
“I’ve been lucky enough to attend, perform and win over the years so now to be back as a host alongside Maya Jama is a huge honour.
“Can’t wait for next week, it’s going to be a big night in Leeds!”
The awards evening on Wednesday will feature an array of music talent performing on stage at the arena throughout the night.
It will include performances from Nigerian Afrobeat music sensation Davido, US rap act Cardi B and MOBO Best Hip-Hop Act 2014 winners Krept & Konan.
Stormzy leads the charge for 2017 MOBO nominations with five, followed by east London rapper J Hus who has picked up four nominations.
The show will be broadcast on Channel 5 on Wednesday at 11pm.
