A city centre bar is embracing the traditional German beer festival and bringing it to Leeds.

Bavarian themed bar, Bierkeller is celebrating Oktoberfest with a two week long extravaganza starting on Monday and running until October 2.

Bierkeller, just off The Headrow, are offering 2-4-1 ‘Haus Steins’ until 8pm from Sunday to Thursday during the festivities as well as Live Oompah Band shows on Friday and Saturday.

Wednesday September 21 will also see the bar host the Kellerbomb Oktoberfest Special, complete with Alpine hats, beer pong, a live DJ and plenty of Bavarian spirit. with the drinks deals on offer.

Isaac Mayne, Head of Marketing and Operations for Burning Night Group, said: “Bierkeller offers the Oktoberfest experience all year round, it’s what we’re known and loved for, however we’re going all out for these two weeks and we’re expecting it to be a busy time.”
