Burglary and robbery victims are being urged to look at a jewellery haul recovered by West Yorkshire Police.

The items, which include men’s and women’s watches, as well as a ring and a bracelet, were found in a Volkswagen Passat on August 29 that police believe was used in a burglary in the Kirklees area.

Police Constable Richard Shires, from the Kirklees Burglary Team, said: “Being the victim of a burglary is an awful experience and I would like to try and mitigate that slightly by getting these items back to their rightful owners.”

If you recognise an item contact PC Shires by calling 101.
