Great British Bake Off finalist Tamal Ray judged a competition to boost funds for a city charity.
Tamal’s sister, Soma Ray, a programme manager at Lloyds Banking Group, invited him to be the head judge of the fundraising bake-off at the group’s IT division in Lovell Park on Thursday.
Tamal said: “It has been really interesting being on the other side of the challenge today although much less stressful and much more fun to be sampling other people’s bakes.”
Maria Russell’s triple layer lemon drizzle cake was the winner.
The bakers raised £1,661 for BBC Children in Need and Meanwood Valley Urban Farm.
