Asda to create 7,000 jobs for Christmas period

ASDA has announced it will create 7,000 jobs for the Christmas period.

The Leeds-based superstore wants extra help instore on the shop floor and in customer services, and more delivery drivers.

The roles have been created as part of a £5 million investment for the festive period.

Specialist service hosts will provide a helping hand tracking down last minute gifts for customers, as well as providing advice on ‘hot’ gifts such as the latest gadgets and clothing trends.

Jobs will be available at Asda stores across the UK from September.
