WEST Yorkshire artist Julie Cross’s work has been short-listed in a prestigious competition.
She is in with a chance of winning the first prize of £10,000 in the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition.
The exhibition will be staged at London’s prestigious Mall Galleries from June 2 to June 7.
Wildlife artist and conservationist David Shepherd CBE, said: “The short-listed entries are once again exceptional. From the judges’ point of view the drama and technical excellence in all the work was quite breath-taking.”
More than 150 works of art have been short-listed for this year’s competition.
