Arson suspected after tyre blaze spread to Leeds car repair garage

ARSONISTS are believed to have started a blaze on a railway banking in Leeds which spread to a car repair garage.

Crews were called to deal with the blaze involving a pile of tyres on railway banking behind MBS Autocare Ltd on Parkfield Street off Dewsbury Road at Hunslet just before 1am today. (Weds July 19)

The blaze damaged cladding on the garage building but was extinguished by firefghters from Hunslet and Leeds before further damage was caused.

A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman he blaze is being treated as suspected arson.
