APPEAL TO FIND '˜LIFE SAVERS'

Two women have been hailed as life savers by police after helping a cyclist suffering from a heart attack in Leeds.

Police are now keen to trace the women involved and thank them for their help.

The man was cycling towards Colton at Swillington Common on the morning of April 10 when he was taken ill.

The women administered CPR and the man was taken to hospital, where he was in intensive care for a few days.

He is now expected to make a good recovery.

A statement on the West Yorkshire Police Outer East Facebook page said: “Please accept a big thank you from his family. You helped save a life.”
