We also provide the opportunity for people to meet the animals in our care and learn how to look after them.‘The dog show is vital to our annual fundraising and we are extremely grateful to Manning Stainton for their generous support.’The glorious weather ensured a huge turnout with lots of entrants competing in a wide range of categories. There was also an entertaining dog display courtesy of the Tailwagger Club and their canine friends.Refreshments were served throughout the day in the appropriately named Muffin’s Munch café and stalls selling doggy related products did a roaring trade.Caroline Munn, Manager of the Manning Stainton branch on Otley Road, says: ‘As a dog lover myself I was in my element and it was lovely to see everyone having such a good time.‘It was also a real privilege to meet Kim and learn first-hand about all the incredible work the charity does on behalf of the animals.’Manning Stainton supported Hope Pastures through its Community Support Programme which has donated in excess of £50,000 to over 50 clubs, schools and other worthwhile organisations in the last 12 months.
