Beer-lovers were able to indulge their passion in glorious sunshine this weekend as the fifth Leeds International Beer Festival drew to a close.
The annual four-day festival at Leeds Town Hall, with the aim of ‘celebrating and promoting craft beer brewed in the UK and overseas’, proved hugely popular once again, with sessions selling out in advance.
As well as hundreds of beers to try from local, national and international brewers, the event also includes a street food market and live music across two stages. Ben Ray of Hawkshead Brewery, whose wares were on sale over the weekend, tweeted: “We came, we saw, we ran out of beer. Thanks so much for having us @leedsbeer it’s been an absolute blast!!!”
The festival returns on September 7 next year.
