Here’s your chance to snap up a picture perfect present that will draw admiring glances for the whole of next year.
Released to mark the Yorkshire Evening Post’s 125th birthday, copies of our 2016 calendar are still available as the countdown continues to Christmas.
Selected photos include Leeds United’s players celebrating their 1992 league title win and cyclists taking part in last year’s Tour de France Grand Départ in the city.
Leeds’s hugely-popular West Indian Carnival and Leeds Rhinos’ Challenge Cup triumph in 2014 are among the other events featured.
Well-known faces picked to appear, meanwhile, include the late Leeds cancer hero and fundraiser Jane Tomlinson and local sporting stars such as Nicola Adams and the Brownlee brothers.
YEP managing editor Nicola Furbisher said: “This is something that will make an ideal Christmas present, so don’t miss out.”
The calendar costs £5.99 including postage for the UK, £8.50 for Europe, £9.50 for Zone 1 USA and £9.99 for Zone 2 Australia.
Copies can be ordered over the phone by calling 0844 292 0216 and hitting option five.
The line is open 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Purchases can also be made in person from reception at Yorkshire Post Newspapers, 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds LS12 1BE, opening times 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
The YEP was first published on September 1, 1890, with a promise to bring its readers “news of all kinds”.
Our calendar has formed part of a packed programme of anniversary celebrations that has also seen the brewing of a YEP125 beer in conjunction with Leeds Brewery and a tie-up with Leeds Rhinos for their high-profile game against New Zealand in October.
