FINAL preparations are under way for the latest production by Garforth Amateur Dramatic Society.

The play tells the story of four workmates who get their hands on tickets to attend ladies day at Royal Ascot in 2005, the year the famous race meeting was held in York.

Directed by David Battersby, cast members include Carole Hurst, Jackie Astbury, Becky Mee, Ivana Smiljanic and Mike Nicholls.

Curtain up for next week’s performances will be 7.30pm while doors open at the venue at 6.45pm.

Tickets are available from Garforth Library or The School Partnership Trust Shop, which are both in Garforth town centre.
