Property company Dandara is behind the project to create 744 apartments for private rent across four buildings up to 12 storeys high at Leodis Square in the Holbeck area of the city.

Permission was granted last year and construction firm, Interserve, say it is expected the development will be completed in June 2019.

Sean O’Connor, Dandara’s Project Director said: “The Private Rental Sector is already providing accommodation and can help deliver homes needed by those who want to live and work in Leeds.”

He added this would also create job opportunities.
