Hundreds of properties in east Leeds have been left without a gas supply after water entered the pipes.
Northern Gas Networks are still working to restore the supply in Burmantofts after the incident yesterday.
The supply has been switched off while repairs take place, and residents have been provided with free heaters and hot food vouchers.
Around 500 homes are affected in the area, which consists of mainly high-rise flats close to St James's Hospital.
A statement by Northern Gas Networks read:
"Engineers worked through the night, into the early hours of this morning to locate and remove the water from our gas pipes, and this work continues today.
"Customers can collect heaters, hotplates and vouchers for hot food from the community drop-in centre located at Ebor Gardens Community Centre, 81 Haslewood Drive, LS9 7PS, while they are without gas.
"If you know anyone who is vulnerable and may need some additional support while the gas supply is off, please contact us via our Customer Care Line on 0800 040 7766, option 3."
