25th anniversary for this month’s Puma Pudsey 10k race

THE 25th annual fundraising Puma Pudsey 10k race and family fun runs will take on Sunday June 21.

More than 700 people are set to take part in three runs, which have been organised by Pudsey Pacers and are set to raise around £4,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The run for under eights will start in Pudsey Park at 9.30am and the 2.75k family fun run will start at Pudsey Cenotaph on Chapeltown at 10am

The Puma Pudsey 10k will start at the cenotaph at 10.45am. Pudsey Leisure Centre will act as race HQ for all three events on the day.

John Marshall of Pudsey Pacers, said: “With our special anniversary in mind we would like to make an extra big effort to bring the total funds raised for Marie Curie by Pudsey Pacers over the years up to a total of £25,000. “
