As things stand, Leeds are 11th in the Premier League table with four games to go, and would be delighted with a top-half finish after a stellar return to the top tier this season.

Spurs, who endured a turbulent season under Jose Mourinho before sacking him last month, are still in with an outside chance of making the top four, but may have to settle for a spot in the Europa League.

Justifying his prediction, the former Liverpool star claimed: “Leeds were pretty poor in their defeat at Brighton last week when they missed injured duo Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha.

“Both of them are doubts for this game and it would definitely mean advantage to Tottenham if they miss out again. I fancy Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to cause Leeds plenty of problems, and Spurs to leave with the points.”

Conversely, Lawro's sparring partner for the week, The Sherlocks drummer and Sheffield Wednesday fan Brandon Cook, tipped the Whites to win 2-1, and contended: “Leeds are flying at the moment, while Tottenham seem to have taken a bit of a step back.”

Meanwhile, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has been tight-lipped on whether Phillips and Raphinha will return this weekend, insisting a decision will be made on the day of the game.
