Lastminute.com findings place Aer Lingus high-flying fifth across the globe among family focused operators.

The UK-based travel website today revealed results of assessment of 36 most-booked airlines worldwide.

Criteria included priority boarding, in-flight TV, child-friendly meals, accommodation of pushchairs and car seats.

Aer Lingus joined ranks of Etihad, Air Canada, Qatar Airways and United Airlines top of the satisfaction survey.

Ireland’s only 4-star airline flag carrier also secured second spot for shortest delays, averaging quick three minutes.
