We are giving away flights, accommodation and bus tour tickets for two to explore Ireland's capital city.

Every year Tourism Ireland illuminates key landmarks green across Great Britain and globally in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, which is on Tuesday, March 17.

In honour of Ireland’s National Day, we have a prize for two that will leave those who don't win going green with envy.

The lively city of Dublin is perfect for a short weekend getaway with its historic centre and pretty seaside, the city is alive with unique cultural experiences and hidden gems.

Its iconic hotspots include The Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, Museum of Literature Ireland, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, St Patrick's and Christ Church Cathedrals and Phoenix Park, the largest enclosed park in any city in Europe.

For foodies, must-sees include the new Roe & Co Whiskey Distillery, the Gravedigger’s Pub in Glasnevin, Brasserie Sixty6 and the Secret Bar, as well as O'Sheas Merchant Pub, a traditional Irish pub located within the old Viking Quarter of Dublin.

Getting to Ireland post-Brexit is as easy as ever, with direct flights to Dublin and Belfast from Leeds Bradford Airport. Even after the transition period there will be no restrictions to travel to Ireland for British visitors.

This is thanks to the Common Travel Area, established in 1923, which means that British visitors to Ireland can travel freely without restriction. In most cases you can just use your driving license instead of a passport to travel between Ireland and Britain (just note: Ryanair require passports for their customers).

Return flights are on a direct route from mainland Britain to Dublin Airport - north of England airports, Manchester/Leeds-Bradford/Newcastle/East Midlands)

The warmth of the welcome, the pubs, the fresh food, the music and the craic are all here to be experienced in Ireland.
