Partnership with Leeds Bradford Airport for Yorkshire tourism

We have joined forces with Leeds Bradford Airport to help promote our new 100-page Visitors’ Guide.

Complimentary copies of the superb guide are being given out to incoming passengers in a new partnership.

Among the first arrivals to be given a copy were the Joli family who arrived from France and were interested in knowing where to go across Yorkshire during their stay in the region.

The packed Visitors’ Guide covers events and attractions throughout Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hull, Driffield, Beverley and Whitby.

It also includes cash-savings for days out, including Flamingo Land and the Sea Life Sanctuary as well the chance to win a two-night stay at The Sands apartments in North Bay, Scarborough.

The £1.99 guide is available from stores and newsagents.

The airport is expanding its appeal to North and East Yorkshire, with an increasing number of destinations and airline operators offering more options.

Tony Hallwood, aviation development director, said: “We were delighted to take part in this partnership with the media on the Yorkshire coast region – we are both highlighting the lure of our great county as a destination.

“We are pleased to help promote the Visitors’ Guide 2016 on display at the airport, giving arrival passengers extra ideas on how to make their visit to Yorkshire even more enjoyable.

“It’s great that we can show the benefits of working together in such an easy way.”
