Pudsey homes demand

Bellway’s Pudsey development, Wellesley Grange has had to increase opening times to cater for demand - its sales office will now open seven days in order to cater for the number of people contacting them about the new development.

The site on Uppermoor has enjoyed rising visitor numbers since the beginning of the year, with six homes selling within the last three weeks alone.

And after a successful Express mover and Help to Buy weekend at the beginning of March, the decision was made to make help and information available to the public every day of the week.

Sales advisor Hilary Goodwin, said: “We were becoming overwhelmed with purchasing enquires, there didn’t seem to be enough hours in the day! If the demand is there and we have people interested in Wellesley Grange then it only seems right to remain open – so we are!

“The new seven day opening will mean there should always be a convenient time for someone to call in and see the properties or ask any questions they may have about moving home.”

There are now just eleven homes left available to buy within the current phase at Wellesley Grange, with prices starting at £199995 for a three bed and £239995 for the four bed detached property.

Work has also begun on the foundations for the last eight remaining plots which will become available to buy toward the end of the year.

Opening hours at the sales office are now 10.30am to 5pm Friday to Wednesday with a late night opening until 7pm on Thursday.
