Manning Stainton has won a major industry award at a glittering ceremony at The Lancaster Hotel in London.
The area’s leading estate agent collected the gold award in the category ‘Best Medium Estate Agency in the North of England’ at The Sunday Times Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2015, attended by over 650 industry representatives from across the UK.
Mark Manning, Sales Director at Manning Stainton said: ‘This rounds off a great year for the business. In addition to this latest award we were recognised at the Yorkshire Residential Property Awards as the Agent of the Year and by allAgents.co.uk, the industry’s version of Trip Advisor, as the Best Medium Sized Agent in the UK. This hat trick of awards is testament to the dedication and hard work of our team of property professionals.’
Winners in The Sunday Times Estate Agent of the Year Awards are decided following a rigorous judging process by a panel of 20 industry experts who assessed detailed entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which included over 150 hours of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer, and Gerry Fitzjohn, VP of The Property Ombudsman acted as Arbiter. The judges said of Manning Stainton: “The company is led from the top by focussed directors who are fully involved with every aspect of the business. They are approachable and encourage an open door policy with the team, so the internal communication is admirable. This emphasis on great communication extends out to the client base as well.’ The firm’s web site and social media strategy also came in for special praise.
