Georgia Harrison and her family have become the first people to move into Bellway’s Queenshead Park development on Brighouse Road, Queensbury – a move Georgia says was on her mind from the moment they left the West Yorkshire village four years previously.

Georgia, a salesperson for Ford in Huddersfield, said: “Our sons, Samuel and Dylan go to school in Queensbury, all their friends live in Queensbury and my husband Craig and I were getting fed-up of driving them backwards and forwards from Norwood Green every day of the week. We’d been planning to move back up the hill for a couple of years, but were waiting to find the perfect property.”

With so many new housing developments currently under construction in the village, the Harrisons certainly had plenty of choice, but Georgia said that as soon as she saw plans for Queenshead Park, buying Bellway was the only option.

“I love the style of Bellway Homes – both inside and out,” she added. “They look great and their family homes are family sized, and believe me, when you have two teenage sons, a husband and dog that’s vitally important.”

The Harrison’s moved into a four bedroom semi-detached Buckden, which is proving to one of the most popular house types on the development – a fact that Bellway Yorkshire’s sales manager, Paula Murdoch puts down to its customisable design.

“The Buckden is undoubtedly the most flexible house type on Queenshead Park,” she said. “Buyers are able to choose between semi or detached versions, both of which are arranged over three floors and benefit from two parking spaces.”

“And the options don’t end there. For those who act quickly, there’s still the chance to choose between two different layouts for the upper floors. The choices being three bedrooms, including a master suite complete with en-suite and dressing area, or four bedrooms and a modern family shower room.”

As well as all the choice, the Buckden’s all benefit from spacious, open-plan kitchen diners, which feature a large bay window. There is also a light and airy lounge with double French doors that lead directly out into the rear garden.

“These really are terrific homes,” added Paula. “And when you consider prices on them begin at £199,995, they really do represent excellent value for money.”

Queenshead Park is conveniently located between Bradford and Halifax in the heart of Queensbury – with Bradford just 20-minutes away and Halifax even closer. It benefits from an array of excellent local amenities, including supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a leisure centre and both primary and secondary schools within one mile.
