Sporty pupils at a Leeds school will be dressed to impress when they take to the playing field, thanks to the support of Manning Stainton.

The lucky year six boys and girls at Grimes Dyke Primary School in Whinmoor have recently been kitted out in brand new tracksuits in a sponsorship deal with the Crossgates branch of the area’s leading estate agent. The firm has donated over £100,000 to good causes in the last year.

Callum Postle, a Sports Apprentice at the school said: “We call ourselves Team GD to demonstrate that everyone connected with the school works together.

“The new kit goes a long way to supporting this philosophy and makes the children feel especially proud to be part of the team.”

Lesley Robinson, manager of Manning Stainton’s branch in Crossgates, called into the school recently to meet the pupils and check out the tracksuits for herself.

“They looked absolutely amazing and so smart,” said Lesley. “It was obvious by the smiles on their faces that they were proud to be wearing the school colours which was lovely to see.”

Manning Stainton’s support of Grimes Dyke Primary School is part of the firm’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. In the last 18 months they have donated nearly £120,000 to a range of good causes across West and North Yorkshire.

Lesley added: “We are fully committed to giving something back to support the communities in which we operate.”

The Crossgates branch of Manning Stainton is open seven days a week and the team is ready to take customer calls from 8am-8pm every day.
