Brits love to picnic and in recognition of this very British tradition a whole week each year is dedicated to the pastime. National Picnic Week takes place this year from June 13 to June 21.
Sponsored by Seabrooks Crisps, a well known Yorkshire brand, the event is being supported by staff at Miller Homes Yorkshire office in Wakefield who decided to share their top five Yorkshire picnic spots for you to enjoy and explore this summer. “Enjoying a picnic is one of life’s simple pleasures and to encourage Yorkshire folk to explore our delightful county we decided to share our favourite picnic spots,” said Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire. “They’ve all been enjoyed by members of the team and it was quite a challenge to narrow it done to just five as there are so many lovely places to enjoy your favourite sandwich.”
