A handful of homes at a picturesque new development in the rural village of Gringley-on-the-Hill are available through the Government initiative, Help to Buy.

The scheme offers assistance for buyers who only have a small deposit of around five per cent through the provision of a 20 per cent equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria. This means that buyers only need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society.

“Help to Buy can be a useful way to help people realise their dream of buying a brand new home and it is currently available, subject to qualifying conditions, on a selection of two and three bedroom homes at Minster View,” said Sarah Whinfrey sales manager Miller Homes Yorkshire. “Simply having a chat with our knowledgeable sales advisers could be the key to your future.”

Homes currently available include the three bedroom ‘Tolkein’ townhouse priced from £145,000 and the two bedroom ‘Twain’ apartment priced at just £125,000. This means, that the “Twain’ apartment could be yours using Help to Buy for just £100,000 now and a £25,000 equity loan.

“Minster View is a really lovely place to call home and these homes are perfect for first time buyers, couples or smaller families,” said Sarah. “This availability of Help to Buy on all these homes only serves to highlight further our commitment to providing quality homes in great locations and to make a real difference to our buyers by giving them a better place to call home.”

Further information can be obtained by visiting the sales office which is open Thursday – Monday, 10.30am - 5.30pm and is located at West Wells Lane, DN10 4RB or by visiting www.millerhomes.co.uk. Alternatively, give the team a call for further information on 0808 250 6420.

Help to Buy loans are provided by the Government’s Homes & Community Agency (HCA) and are secured over your new home over a period of 25 years.
