Leeds Property News: former council properties up for grabs at auction

Buyers at a property auction in Leeds later this month will have a chance to buy Cloverfield House on Quarry Road in Woodlesford, which is among the lots at the Eddisons sale at Elland Road stadium on July 9.

The vacant three bedroom semi-detached with gardens is being offered upon the instructions of Leeds City Council at a guide price of £225,000.

Meanwhile a vacant three bedroom detached house on Dewsbury Road in Beeston in need of refurbishment, is guided at £80,000.

Elsewhere a substantial detached property on Harehills Lane arranged as three self-contained apartments is also available. Oak House is furnished to a high standard and is ready for occupation. The guide price is £175,000.

Investment opportunities include two fully let properties on Cross Green Avenue in Leeds 9 producing £14,520 and £13,248 per annum respectively. They are being offered for £55,000 each.

A mixed-use investment in Armley is also going under the hammer. The property on Hall Lane includes a ground floor hairdressers and a two bedroom flat above which produce annual income of £9,620. The guide price is £60,000.

Commercial stock includes a vacant freehold former community centre in Bramley. Greenhill Centre on Gamble Hill Drive in Bramley extends to approximately 2, 400sq ft and is being offered on the instruction of Leeds City Council for £70,000.
