ESTATE agent Waite and Co has become the sponsor to two football teams.

The company is backing the U14s and now the U7s Horsforth St Margaret’s football teams.

Andrew Hardisty, proprietor of the Horsforth, Guiseley and Otley branches of the estate agency, said: “It is a great honour to be able to support these local football teams and we are particularly proud to be sponsors of the U14s for a second year running.

“The team has worked extremely hard in the league and they are now enjoying the success of promotion from the second division of the Garforth League to Division One.”

Mr Hardisty added: “This excellent team of dedicated boys also achieved a well earned place at Elland Road in May this year playing in the Leeds United Millennium Cup Final.

“After a superb effort, the game unfortunately went into extra time where St Margaret’s narrowly missed out on a win on penalties but they are a determined bunch and I am sure the boys will be striving for more success in the coming season.

“It is also great to be able to sponsor a brand new junior team entering the league in September. The U7s Mustangs will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of their highly motivated and dedicated fellow players in the U14s.”

Peter Hardisty said: “Waite and Co appreciates the importance of strong team spirit and dedication and this is the basis on which we sponsor and encourage young people and support our local community.

“We always apply these things into our own work ethic to ensure that we remain in touch with our general public, identifying their needs and ensuring that we serve them in the best way possible providing a first class service and a continual commitment for professionalism and promotion second to none.

“We would like to once again congratulate the U14s on their massive achievements this year and wish both teams superb success in the next season.”
