RENOWNED Skipton estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley has made three appointments across its sales and lettings divisions, including a recent client who bought a home and was so inspired by the standard of customer service that she applied for a job with the firm.

Emily Cowan has joined the company’s sales team as an accompanied viewer. She previously ran The Queens Arms in the Yorkshire Dales village of Litton before buying a home in Gargrave last year that was being marketed by Dacre, Son & Hartley.

She said: “I was considering a career change and when I bought my home through Dacres I was really impressed with the positive attitude of the people I dealt with, their ability to work under pressure and the level of customer service. I decided to enquire about working at the firm and successfully applied for a position as a receptionist at the Keighley office. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join the sales team in Skipton and I’m already enjoying the challenges and variety that this job offers.”

In addition to Emily’s appointment, experienced property professional Holly Uttley joins the office to head up its lettings division, which markets and manages an extensive portfolio of rental property throughout Skipton and Craven. Holly has worked at Dacres for 11 years across the firm’s offices in Skipton, Harrogate and Bingley.

Rachel Beer also joins the office as PA to Tim Usherwood who is a director at the firm and heads up the Skipton office. Rachel previously held a similar role at Dacres in Ilkley.

Patrick McCutcheon, Head of Residential Sales says: “We’re always keen to maximise the talent of our people and promote from within the business and we’re delighted to welcome Holly, Rachel and Emily.”
