The Yorkshire division of national homebuilder Bellway has officially opened the doors to its brand-new Queensbury development, Queenshead Park on the town’s Brighouse Road.

The 124-home development, which was named by Queensbury School pupil, Nizalia Latif, after she won a competition earlier this year, has seen a significant amount of local interest since Bellway first revealed its plans. And, now that the sales office doors are firmly open and the first properties have been released, Bellway sales advisor Christine says her team has received nothing but positive feedback.

“You expect a lot of interest in a new site, but it’s been incredible here in Queensbury,” she said. “With all of our developments the local community is at the heart of everything that we build, and it has been so important for us to continue this here at Queenshead Park. Since we have opened we have seen a surge of potential buyers through the door who not only love our plans but are very keen to see what we have on offer.”

The first properties released at the development are three and four bedroom homes which have been specifically designed to cater to modern day families. Ranging in price from £199,995 and £284,995, the homes showcase a stunning traditional exterior, and thanks to the use of the latest building materials and techniques, every home is more energy efficient and potentially cheaper to run than some older properties.

“Families have very much been the focus of the designs and I firmly believe that this development has the kind of mix that will appeal to a wide range of buyers,” added Christine. “Each of the homes features impressive flexible living space and boast spacious social areas that are perfect for families looking for that little bit extra. And what’s more, they are all available to buy using the Government’s Help to Buy Scheme.”

The Government’s Help to Buy Scheme allows potential buyers to snap up their dream home with a deposit of as little as five per cent. Meanwhile, for buyers looking to sell their previous home, Bellway offer an alternative Part-Exchange initiative which allows customers to move house in one easy process.

When complete, Queenshead Park will feature a range of three and four bedroom homes and is conveniently located between Bradford and Halifax in the stunning Queensbury Village. The development is conveniently situated just off the A644, and is just a 20 minute drive away from Bradford and a 12 minute drive away from Halifax. On its doorstep are some fantastic local amenities including supermarkets, swimming pools and local primary and secondary schools all within 1 mile of the development.
