Estate agent Manning Stainton have a new motto: ‘no need to wait, we’re open till late’ after they extended their opening hours until 8pm.

Manager Sandra Kuhler said the move was in response to customer demands as the property market showed signs of picking up.

They are calling their new service ‘The Link’.

Sandra said: “Our branch opening hours midweek are 9am–5.30pm and on Wednesdays 9.45am–5.30pm but we recognise in the important area of a property purchase or sale, clients may wish to get in touch outside these times and don’t want to listen to a ‘busy’ tone or a ‘sorry, we’re closed’ message – hence The Link.

“At Manning Stainton we constantly strive to improve customer service standards and to do that we need to be available at all reasonable times to help our potential buyers and sellers.”

The Link will also take ‘overflow’ calls if branches are busy and the customer service team can book a valuation on a customer’s home, arrange a viewing if they are looking to buy and, if they wish, register their details on the Manning Stainton database of buyers.

There is no special number to call, as calls are automatically diverted to The Link if a branch is closed or busy with phone calls.

Sandra added: “We’ve had an exceptional number of calls since we launched the service,. But, as the region’s top-selling agent, it is important our customers and prospective customers enjoy the very best service levels.”

“We’ve had some very welcome comments, too, from satisfied callers on this new and extended service.”
