He celebrates his 45th birthday on Sunday - May 6, 2018 - and his tickets are of the same day at the end of stage two in Leeds city centre.

We invited readers to send us their best 'bikies', selfies or other pictures of themselves, family or friends having fun on their bikes in a bid to win our TDY photo prizes,

Our panel of judges picked Rich's colourful winning snap, taken by wife Julie, aged 49, which shows him with their son Daniel, 12, dressed up as Marvel superhero Ghost Rider - their bikes covered in fairy lights, at last year's Leeds Light Night parade.

In his Twitter entry Rich, @RideWozzy, joked: "Any @letouryorkshire riders fancy their bikes pimping? I was on my @farsleyfestival love machine."

Inspirational Rich, who dropped six stones to a healthy 13 stones in 2012, is now encouraging others to take up cycling and running.

He's raised £5,500 for charities, including Leeds Children's Hospital Appeal and National Deaf Children's Society, after they treated Daniel, born at 27 weeks, weighing 1lb 13oz.

Rich has completed London to Paris and Leeds to London bike rides, the Yorkshire Marathon, Leeds, Hull and York 10ks. He is a ride leader for British Cycling and a run leader for Farsley Flyers.

He quit his IT job of 20-years to launch a health, events and technology business, called Ride Wozzy at www.wozzy.co.uk.He said: "It's fantastic to win VIP Tour de Yorkshire tickets and the day is on my birthday. Daniel needs a new bike so we'll probably get him one and pass his on to encourage somebody else to take up cycling."
