These are the best and worst UK cities if you're looking for your forever home

Finding that one place to call home is the aim of thousands of property buyers across the UK, particularly as millions have been forced into home working due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But finding that forever home can be a difficult task, with many factors to consider. A new study from Bequests.co.uk has assessed the best UK cities to find a permanent abode based on a variety of factors including the average number of years homeowners stay, average house price and the value change over 10 years, alongside the quality of schools, crime levels and number of GPs. Listed are the five cities that ranked the highest, followed by the five that ranked the lowest, if you’re looking for a forever home in the UK.
