The 11 Leeds areas where house prices have risen fastest according to Manning Stainton estate agents.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the housing market remained strong in Leeds with average house prices shooting up in some areas as people moved out towards the suburbs. Estate agents in west Leeds suburb of Pudsey in particular saw a huge demand for homes in the area and it has since been named as one of the top property hotspots in the UK by Rightmove.

Local estate agent Manning Stainton, which has branches across Leeds, calculated the areas that have seen house prices rise the fastest in the last year.

These are those 11 areas, calculated by the average sale price and number of units from 2019 to 2020, the latest available figures:

The average house price in Guiseley was £213,491 in 2019. It has risen by 17.7 per cent and is now £251,313.
