The nine Miller Homes employees include managing director Steve Birch, area sales manager Jan Hanaby, office manager Debbie Peers, associate commercial director Richard Gough, sales administrator Zoe Sugden, customer service supervisor Marie Mundy, senior surveyor Richard Littlewood, operations director Andrew Davies and contracts manager David Patterson.

The firm puts its staff loyalty down to a strong commitment to staff welfare and development. It said it takes its employer responsibilities seriously with promotional opportunities, career development and a team spirit all playing a part in ensuring staff stay with the company for the long term.

Mr Birch said: “Miller Homes is an employer that invests in its staff across the UK and we are lucky in the Yorkshire region to have a really great team which works hard and socialises too. ”

The nine workers form part of the team that will bring almost 400 new homes to the Yorkshire region this year with 30 per cent forming part of several new developments.

The Miller Homes team members also raise money for charity. This year, the business is supporting the Habitat for Humanity project, with two Yorkshire employees joining a team that is set to visit Malawi to help with a house building community project. Miller Homes is currently building developments across the region, including Stonebridge Fold in East Ardsley, Privas Court in Wetherby and Harlow One in Harrogate.
