“We work tirelessly to provide a level of service to all our clients which is second to none and maintains the legacy created by my father. Far from resting on our laurels we are determined to build the Auction House West Yorkshire business even further by promoting the benefits of sale by auction and delivering exceptional returns for our clients.

Bryan Baxter, founding director of the Auction House Network, said: “James took over the helm of the highly successful Auction House West Yorkshire team from his father David just over two years ago. Since then, not only has he taken to the rostrum, gavel in hand, to operate as the youngest auctioneer in our national operation, but he has also cemented their position as the market leading auctioneer in the Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford area.

“Mature for his years and a dedicated enthusiastic performer, he has fully embraced the Auction House philosophy and high service ideals.

“It is the first time we have had a second generation winner and a sure sign that the brand is set fair for many years to come.”
