A study has revealed the most expensive streets in West Yorkshire, by average house price, over the last decade.

New data has revealed the most expensive roads in the county between 2010 and 2020, by average house price, with roads in and around Wetherby dominating the top of the list.

Homes on Linton Lane, Linton, Wetherby, sold for an average of £1.7 million over the decade, ahead of The Acres, Linton, which took second spot after fetching an average price of £1.61m.

Roads in Wakefield and Holmfirth were the only non LS postcodes in West Yorkshire’s top 10, with houses selling for an average of £1.5m and £1.36m, respectively.

Properties on Linton Lane, Wetherby, sold for an average of £1,699,352 between 2010 and 2020.

The list has been compiled by house price valuation specialists Mouseprice, part of PropertyHeads, a property portal and social network.

It found that homes across Yorkshire sold for an average of £189,736 over the period, with sales averaging £180,359 in West Yorkshire.

“Like many locations across the country, Yorkshire was in the middle of what was a crazy decade for the property market and one which will be remembered for its eye-watering house prices.”

Properties on Stainburn Lane, Leathley, Otley, sold for an average of £1,559,125.
Homes on Manor House Lane, Leeds, sold for an average price of £1,504,086.
Properties at Harewood Villas, off Malt Kiln Lane, Harewood, sold for an average price of £1,503,825, between 2010 and 2020.
Homes at Woodthorpe Hall Gardens, off Woodthorpe Lane, Wakefield, sold for an average of £1,499,767.
Homes on Hall Lane, Blubberhouses, Otley, sold for an average of £1,494,375.
Properties on Hag Farm Road, Burley in Wharfedale, Ilkley, sold for an average of £1,480,050 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Calf Hill Road, Thongsbridge, Holmfirth, sold for an average of £1,365,550, between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on Sandmoor Drive, Leeds, sold for an average of £1,302,394.
Homes on The Terrace, Boston Spa, sold for an average of £1,249, 950.
Properties on College Farm Lane, Linton, Wetherby, sold for an average of £1,206,869, between 2010 and 2020.
