North Star to dish up three foodie fixtures at Leeds Indie Food Festival

Award-winning Leeds coffee roasters, North Star, will be hosting three unique events for Leeds Indie Food Festival this May to celebrate and showcase provenance, flavour forward thinking and attention to detail.

The events will see North Star pair single estate loose leaf teas with Indian dishes in collaboration with Rafi's Spicebox, a dessert tasting dinner with Noisette Bakehouse and an evening of fine dining with Workshop, inspired by Yorkshire produce and nursery rhymes.

Last year saw the coffee roasters team up with micro-bakery, Noisette Bakehouse, to open their first ever retail space at Leeds Dock where customers can enjoy baked goods, breakfast and lunch, alongside an advanced coffee offering in the coffee shop and general store, which sits adjacent to North Star's roastery and coffee academy.

Established in 2013, North star are proud to be the first roastery in Leeds dedicated to providing the highest quality coffees by working with specialty focused producers all over the world, sourcing only grade Arabica coffee.

A trilogy of events

The three unique events will be held in May as part of Leeds Indie Food Festival and include the following:
