Owner Tom Stafford, who lives in Leeds city centre but formerly lived in Meanwood, announced that he was opening his own store back in October.

The permanent fixture follows the business's success at the British Street Food Awards in 2018 where Doh'hut was crowned the winner.

Doh'hut also won the 'best dessert' category at the awards and the 'best desert' category at European Street Food Awards 2018.

The flurry of awards came in the company's first year of trading.

Tom said: "The concept for this new cafe and bakery is simplicity and nostalgia.

"I don’t need to say much more because the food speaks for itself.

"On top the donuts that we are known for, we will be baking our own baguettes each morning for sandwiches.

"These are going to be next level and a perfect quick lunch for the people of Leeds."

The doughnuts will be served from 11am.

There is a selection of ready made donuts including the 'original donut', raspberry jam, vanilla bean creme, chocolate ganache, as well as a weekly special.

Prices range from £2 to £3 and a box of six will cost £15.

Customers can also opt to build their own doughnut for £4 where they can choose their own filling, sauce and toppings.

Fresh sandwiches will also be served from 11am and promise to be 'filled with the best Yorkshire ingredients we could find"

Options include tomato, mozzarella and pesto, ham and cheese and roasted chicken salad.

Address: Trevelyan Square, LS1 6ED Leeds
