Current restrictions mean that restaurants and other hospitality venues can only open outdoors. So, for some across the city, opening has not yet been possible. But, from May 17, our favourite places to dine in Leeds will all be allowed to open again. Here's some of those who are waiting for that inside go-ahead before they reopen their doors:
1. The Ivy - Victoria Quarter
The Ivy in Victoria Quarter will be opening its doors sooner than expected with some outdoor seating on April 30 - just in time for the May bank holiday weekend. Bookings can be made online now.
2. Amici
Amici restaurant located on Harrogate Road in North Leeds is not open yet but is taking bookings on its website for indoor seating from May 17.
3. Tattu Leeds
Tattu Leeds is taking bookings at certain reservation times from May 17 onwards. It is not yet open due to the lack of outdoor seating. The set times are: Monday – Wednesday 5pm to 10.15pm; Thursday – Saturday 12pm to 10.30pm; Sunday 12pm to 10pm; Bank holiday Sunday 12pm – 10.30pm.
4. Bill's Restaurant and Bar
Bill's Albion Place restaurant and bar is advising its customers book in advance for its May reopening due to 'much anticipation' with the Spring season.
5.
San Carlo in Leeds city centre is reopening on May 17. If you're missing out on some Italian fine dining though, its Flying Pizza branch on Street Lane has an outdoor area open now.
6. Fazenda
Online reservations are available for May 18 onwards at Granary Wharf's Fazenda Bar and Grill.
