Flavours of Yorkshire come to Leeds hotel in celebration of Yorkshire Day

Ladies in Leeds will be treated to a delicious locally inspired menu at the stylish Dakota Deluxe hotel in celebration of Yorkshire Day.

The hotel is bringing the a selection of Yorkshire-made produce to its exclusive 'Ladies Who Lunch' on Wednesday 1 August, designed for women in business or leisure who want to combine a fantastic dining experience with a bit of networking.

Harrogate-based artisan gin brand, Slingsby, will be in attendance on the day to share insights into its popular products, along with tasters of its famous rhubarb gin which is sourced directly from Yorkshire's rhubarb triangle and local botanicals.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of fizz on arrival, followed by a traditional afternoon tea featuring a range of Yorkshire petit fours, including a tasty rhubarb and custard dome.

Speaking of the Yorkshire themed event, Debbie Dobson, director of sales at Dakota Deluxe, said: "What better way to celebrate Yorkshire Day than by adding a taste of our county to our special Ladies Lunch event.

"We are delighted to welcome Slingsby Gin as a guest speaker and we hope women of all ages are able to join us as we fly the flag for Yorkshire in an enjoyable and inspirational afternoon."

How to book

The 'Ladies Who Lunch' event takes place on the first Wednesday of every month, with the Yorkshire Day event held on Wednesday 1 August from 1pm to 3pm.

The event costs £20 per person and booking is required, as spaces are limited.
