Not just for Christmas…

A glass of Cockburn’s Special Reserve with a tasty piece of Stilton may have become synonymous with Christmas, but this delicious tipple deserves to be enjoyed all year round as more than just a festive treat.

First created in 1969, Cockburn’s Special Reserve revolutionised the way that port was seen and drunk by people around the world. These days only the finest grapes from Cockburn’s vineyards at Quinta dos Canais are picked by hand during the harvest and then, after a little 'pisa' (Portuguese for grape-treading), turned into wine which is aged in seasoned oak to become the famous ruby liquid.
