TOPSHOP has officially announced the launch of Topshop Bride, which will be available globally online and in selected stores from Thursday, April 13, 2017, writes Stephanie Smith. The brand says its eagerly anticipated collection celebrates the occasion of the wedding through the eye of the Topshop customer, shunning traditional formalities in favour of a more carefree and spirited sensibility.
The collection comprises five limited-edition bridal dresses in an assortment of versatile silhouettes, including strapless, tie-shoulder and Bardot styles finished with tiered layers, peplums and sweeping trains.
Designed with the modern bride in mind, the store says it suits all nuptials, whether a relaxed wedding on the beach, a chic city ceremony, a church in the countryside or a second dress for the celebrations.
Each style has been designed with detailing including bias-cut satin, floral appliqués in silk organza, draped lace and fine tulle prom designs. Fabrications and colours give a vintage feel in ivory ripple textured crêpe and dresses delicately embellished with pearls and silver threads.
Topshop Bride will also offer a selection of 25 bridesmaid dresses including soft cold-shoulder gowns with ruffles, cowl tie satin slips and cape-sleeved maxi dresses; available in an array of muted pastels such as soft heather and butterscotch in addition to pretty floral prints. A carefully edited selection of shoes, hair accessories and lingerie complete the collection.
Brides-to-be can book a complimentary appointment within the Personal Shopping Suites in selected Topshop stores to try on the dresses in a relaxed and luxurious setting. The Trinity Leeds store will stock the 25 piece bridesmaid collection.
