Domino's is among the new restaurants coming to Leeds' Merrion Centre in 2020

The Merrion Centre has announced that a Domino's Pizza restaurant and two new Asian restaurants from established Oriental Supermarket, Hang Sing Hong will open in 2020. The Domino's branch will be on Wade Lane and the new Asian eateries on Wade Lane and Merrion Way.
These new additions come as the centre celebrates one of its most successful festive periods and an overall yearly growth in footfall.

Hide AdA spokesperson for the Merrion Centre said that new tenants for 2020 had been confirmed as Dominos, Oba Kitchen, Mi’s and Franksters.
They follow the openings last year of Konga Coffee, Blue Sakura, Ambassador Barbering, Starbucks, Riva Home, Oodles, Pizza Express, Rude Studios, Union Square, Chatime, HaysTravel, New look Tenpin, Iceland, St Gemma's and William Merritt/Shopmobility.

Hide AdOn November 9 last year the Merrion kick-started its Christmas campaign with more than 21,000 visitors welcomed throughout the course of the day which also saw a ten per cent year on year increase.
Throughout the year there had also been more 'experience' events taking place such as a student ball pit, Leeds Pride, a 55th anniversary exhibition, a Leeds United pop-up and a Santa's Grotto.
A spokesperson added that the expanding tenant portfolio, coupled with the centre’s focus on unique experiential activity contributed to attracting an additional 148,387 visitors to the centre during the last 10 weeks of the year, which saw a 6.69% uplift versus the same period in 2018, and resulted in more than 11.2 million visitors overall for 2019.
