Days Out: Sci-Fi Scarborough 2017

The hugely popular Sci-Fi Scarborough is back for a fourth year in the beautiful Victorian spa complex over the weekend of April 8 and 9 and with it comes a mix of guests, authors, movie and TV props, comic book artists, Cosplay competition (dressing up as a character from a film or book), geek pub quizzes and much more.

An event run by fans for fans, SFS returns for a fourth year with everything you loved about the first three but with fresh guests & seven areas updated with content for you to peruse, involve and immerse yourself in…

You’ll be transported to a galaxy far, far away where you’ll be able to mingle with extra-terrestrial stars, like Star Trek’s David Warner, the seventh Doctor Who, Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred from Doctor Who and Gareth David Lloyd from Torchwood.

Comic book artists like Russell Payne, Gary Erskine, Richard Piers-Rayner, Nick Brokenshire and legendary illustrator Chris Achilleos will also be on hand to share their secrets and let you into their fascinating world.

Dress up as your favourite character in the Cosplay competition, where there’ll be awards for best male and female, and best junior male and female.

The Underground Music Institute will also entertain the crowds all the weekend, while Inca and Zeus the Mackaws and their pirate handler, live Jedi battles, a free face painter and balloon modeller will keep the younglings happy all weekend.

The Spa Complex is a wonderful Victorian venue with many rooms, which we fill with amazing content for your enjoyment.
